New Deck!

Peter and Kat fixed up our deck. They replaced the foundation, turned over the planks, sanded them, stained them, did the same for the picnic table, and even added a new flowerbox for Jen. Thanks Peter and Kat! Your training repairing trails in our state parks has paid off well!

Beautiful Arkansas

We spent a wonderful week over Christmas break in one of our favorite places – the Ozark National Forest in northwest Arkansas. Joined by Jen’s sister Emily’s beautiful family.

We visited Horseshoe Canyon Ranch, Lost Valley trail, Eden Falls cave, Sam’s Loop trail, Pedestal Rocks and Kings Bluff trail, and Alum Cove trail. Such beautiful country!
